ABOUT SHANKS

Shanks Engineering Ltd is a family run business, involved in the steel industry since 2004, starting primarily in the agricultural sector, and growing from strength to strength specializing in structural steel, manufacture and erection, commercial, industrial fabrication, factory maintenance, and the design & manufacturing of bespoke decorative steel.

Shanks Engineering Ltd has CE marking Execution Class 3 certification.

Since July 2014 structural steelwork and aluminium now fall under the CPR and therefore must carry CE marking to demonstrate that they comply with EN 1090-1:2009 +A1:2011 Execution of Steel Structures and Aluminium Structures – Part 1: Requirements for conformity assessment of structural components, which involves a number of steps that culminate in certification by a third party, known as a notified inspection body (NB).

Shanks Tanks Ltd is a sister company of Shanks Engineering Ltd, it was established in 2019 and manufactures large fuel storage tanks underground, overground and ad-blue tanks to any capacity.
