Shanks Tanker Wins Enterprise Ireland Innovation Award

We are delighted to have been awarded the Enterprise Ireland Innovation Award for Safety at The National Ploughing Championships 2019.

Carrickmacross-based Glenn Cruikshank – from Shanks Engineering was selected by Enterprise Ireland to showcase his new Shanks slurry tanker in the Innovation Arena at the National Ploughing Championships. Glenn claims to have developed an “innovative solution to a safety problem” for farmers spreading slurry and developing a “unique solution to the problem of tanker instability”.
